Interaction effect of Root Lesion Nematodes and Fusarium culmorum Sacc. on disease complex in some wheat cultivars

چکیده

The study was conducted to assess a possible interaction between fungal pathogen of Fusarium culmorum Sacc. and Root lesion nematodes at sequentially simultaneously inoculation. spore suspension effect evaluated on plant disease severity nematode density moderate resistant wheat line F. (2-49) susceptible variety (?kizce) under controlled condition. higher ?kizce cv. than 2-49. This indicates that there is considerable important resistance. Simultaneous sequential inoculation Pratylenchus thornei reduced the final reproduction rate more with only P. penetrans F.culmorum (N+F) affected positively N+ F treatment neglectus cv., whereas negative found in pre or post treatments. No synergistic interactions were detected 2-49 when plants co-infected by root fungus. It determined had positive it entered before cv.. decreased applied four weeks after In differences species nematodes.

Comparison of Fusarium Culmorum Isolates Associated with Virulence on Wheat

Fusarium culmorum is one of the most important causal agents of Fusarium head blight (FHB), results in yield and quality reductions and mycotoxin accumulation. It predominates on cereals in North-West of Turkey in cereal growing fields. In this research the aggressiveness among the F. culmorum isolates and reduction on yield was evaluated. Two wheat varieties (Golia and Ceyhan) and 16 isolates ...

Effects of Fusarium Head Blight on Wheat Grain and Malt Infected by Fusarium culmorum

Fusarium head blight is a destructive disease of cereals worldwide. The aim of this research was to study the effect of heavy Fusarium infection with Fusarium culmorum and biosynthesis of mycotoxins on different wheat varieties during malting by setting up field trials with control and Fusarium-inoculated treatments at the Agricultural Institute Osijek. The highest occurrence of Fusarium mycoto...
